PART-TIME TEACHING POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Congregation Etz Hayim, the only synagogue in Arlington, VA is a conservative synagogue that  is committed to lifelong learning.  We are a socially progressive, warm and welcoming community that encourages spiritual and intellectual growth for everyone in our community. Our school thrives on the creativity of our teachers. We are eager to hear from those who want to give back to the community and enhance their own learning at the same time.

At this time we have just a few teaching positions left to fill.  Specifically, we are seeking a teacher for our Wednesday Hebrew classes (in the 3rd and 7th Grades) from 4:45-6:45, and for our Sunday Religious School (in the 3rd and 5th Grades) from 9:30-12:30, as well as an Art specialist to teach on 2 scheduled Sundays each month.

If you have some experience working with elementary school-aged children, are comfortable with a wide range of opinions and attitudes towards Jewish experiences and knowledge, please send your resume and a cover letter describing which position most interests you and why to us at:

If you would like more information, please call 703-979-4466.
