Who we are:

The Partnership takes Jewish education beyond books and classrooms by providing an array of venues and opportunities for people to integrate Jewish experiences into their daily lives and make Jewish learning joyful at all ages. The Partnership strives to improve and expand philanthropy education and service-learning in the local Jewish community by building on our extremely successful youth philanthropy institutes and service-learning camp.

Intern responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

  1. Assist in creating evaluations for program development and assessment purposes;
  2. Compile grant evaluations into creative, attractive written summaries to share with teen funders;
  3. Maintain a database of nonprofit organizations and resources for service-learning and philanthropy activities;
  4. Update and compile educational materials for the Jewish Youth Philanthropy Initiative (JYPI); and
  5. Support Partnership staff with additional tasks, as assigned

Applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in education, philanthropy and/or the nonprofit sector. Strong writing, organizational and communication skills are required. A positive attitude and enthusiasm also are a must! This is a valuable opportunity to get hands-on experience in a small nonprofit setting, which is beneficial for those considering a career in this sector.

Send resume and a writing sample (i.e. report, blog, etc.) to Patricia Quintas, While this is an unpaid internship, we are willing to complete paperwork necessary for an intern to receive credit if your education institution offers it.
