GREAT NANNY POSITION STARTING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE – PERFECT DAY JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EVENING STUDENT! CLOSE TO GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY!
We are looking for a full time live-out nanny to care for our very sweet three-year-old at our home in Occoquan, Virginia beginning as soon as possible. Our perfect candidate will be a loving and trustworthy caregiver who enjoys reading books, going for walks, playing games, signing songs and genuinely keeping our sweet toddler happy. Our daughter is very easy to care for and she is incredibly articulate. We are looking for someone who will fit right in and become part of our family. This position does not require housekeeping or cooking beyond assembling lunch and snacks for our child and cleaning up after meals and play. Hours will almost always be 9 – 4 Monday through Friday but there will be a few rare days when we need our nanny to begin at 8 and some days when we need the nanny to stay until 4:30. We appreciate a bit of flexibility but we do try to always give notice when we will need a bit of extra time.
Position requires reliable personal transportation, experience with pre-schoolers and fluency in English. Must be a non-smoker, willing to provide recent references and submit to a background check. CPR and first aid certification is preferred. This is a great opportunity for a local evening student as we can easily accommodate night classes. It is also not an issue for a student to complete assignments or study while the toddler naps for 1.5-2 hours each day. Our home is just 15 minutes or so from George Mason University and not far from UMW or NVCC. Please note that the Mom works in a home office most days but this is a full-time nanny position, not a mother’s helper role. Mom is available in emergencies, of course, but the nanny is providing full time care and entertainment for the child. This is NOT a position for a candidate that wishes to bring his or her own child also. Thanks for your interest! Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in learning more about this role. Please provide your email and phone number in your response.
