Mason Hillel Presents the Second Annual: Expressions of the Holocaust, Storytellers
November 11, 2014 at 7:00pm, George Mason University, Johnson Center Cinema
Join Mason Hillel for a night of storytelling to honor the survivors and victims of the Holocaust. We will hear from a survivor panel, witness a one act performance, and learn from a student created mini-documentary with a dessert reception to follow the program.
Uniform, a fictional performance, involves three Jewish siblings hiding from the Nazis in Hungary. It is the story of keeping one’s humanity, in an inhumane time. Uniform was written by Mason Alumnus, Aaron Sulkin.
The mini-documentary interviews NoVA survivors, Mason students and faculty regarding their perspectives for keeping the memory alive for future generations. The film was produced by Mason students of Delta Kappa Alpha, a film fraternity. There are limited seats available for community members.
Community Ticket: $36
